More than two decades of experience as a professional photographer has given me opportunities to photograph everything from Yosemite weddings and elopements, bat mitzvahs in mountain meadows, U.S. Presidents, professional sporting events, as well as wildfires and breaking news. With this experience, I have learned to anticipate exceptional moments and emotions, allowing me to capture deeply special moments you will want to relive throughout your lifetime. My goal is to provide you with imagery that will bring joy to you and your family for generations.

I take a journalistic approach to your wedding or event, anticipating and capturing special moments. As necessary, I pose couples and groups to ensure you have oodles of classic, frame-able images. My heart and soul go into every event I photograph. I am genuinely interested in you and your story, and I consider it an honor to document moments in your life. I have lived in the Sierra Nevada foothills near Yosemite for ~20 years. I frequently explore the U.S. and the world for business, pleasure and curiosity, but I absolutely love the Sierra Nevada and consider it my spiritual and physical home.

When I’m not photographing Yosemite weddings and events, I work as a photojournalist and writer. My work has appeared in newspapers, books, magazines, galleries, and on tv throughout the world (including National Geographic Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Atlantic, The Guardian, San Francisco Chronicle, PBS, NBC, CBS, to name a few).
